I've been using several Kiehl's products for years, and here are some of my faves:

• Powerful-Strength Line Reducing Concentrate- This product is amazing. I use it after washing my face at night. It tingles a little bit at first, but you'll immediately notice how smooth your face looks (and feels!) and how it softens fine lines. You can use it alone or under a moisturizer. $56 (The reviews online are equally as glowing.)

• Facial Fuel Eye De-Puffer- This is a staple for me every morning when I seem to always wake up with bags and puffy eyes. I keep it in the fridge and apply to my under eyes first thing in the morning. I love how cooling it feels. $20

• Line Reducing Eye Brightening Concentrate- I've probably gone through five bottles of this stuff. It's a wonderful eye cream that really does help with dark circles. I use it in the mornings and love how I can feel it working instantly. ($41)

Review: Kryolan Makeup

As we get closer to summer, I'm always searching for ways to change up my beauty routine. That often means new makeup colors, and especially this season, the brighter the better.

Recently I had the chance to try out makeup from a company called Kryolan. Kryolan has been supplying the film, theater and television industries for years, which makes it one of top makeup companies in the world.

Here I'm wearing their new Lip N' Cheek product, which can work as either a lip gloss or a blush. (I'm using it as a blush.) I'm also wearing their High Gloss lip gloss is the color "Heartbreaker." It's a super fun, bubble gum pink color.

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate and Philosophy's Microdelivery Exfoliation Kit

Twice a week, which I've tried to designate as Wednesdays and Sundays so I remember, I exfoliate my skin to leave it soft and glowing.

I wanted to share two of my favorite exfoliators so you can give them a try! A Sephora associate recently talked me into Kate Somerville's ExfoliKate, which totally rocks. It contains Salicylic Acid which is important for zapping wrinkles, but it also has Aloe Vera, honey and Vitamin E to make your skin soft and supple. You'll want to apply it in a circular motion all over your face for about 30 seconds and then let it sit for two minutes. After that, gently wash off with a washcloth. You'll love the way your skin glows afterwards. Plus, it smells yummy which is an extra bonus. I started with the smallest bottle, which costs $19 at Sephora.

I also really love Philosophy's Microdelivery Exfoliation Kit. This is a three-part system, although they seem to only sell it in two parts now. First, you want to wash your face with the exfoliating wash (sold separately). Then you use the small tub of the orange exfoliater and rub that into your skin in a circular motion for about 30 seconds. Leave on for about a minute, and then spread a small amount of the activating gel all over and let that sit for a couple of minutes. Then gently wash off with a washcloth. This will also make your face feel super smooth and fresh. The kit is $40 and the wash is $8-$58, depending on the size.

Exhale Spa in Chicago. Amazing!

There is a Chicago spa I'm quickly falling in love with! It's Exhale Spa in the Gold Coast. The gorgeous, super clean and spacious spa is home to one of my all-time-favorite facials, plus the employees are super friendly and welcoming. You can also enjoy Yoga, acupuncture, and Thai therapy here.

I bought a Gilt City voucher for a Cool Beam facial which is one of the best facials I've ever received (and I've literally had hundreds of them in at least six states). The hour-long bliss starts with a cleansing, mask, steam and extractions. The esthetician then goes the extra mile with a hand and foot massage. When a spa does this, they instantly win my loyalty. She then uses a heating light all over the face--a blue light for any acne and then the red light for fine lines and sun spots. Here's Exhale's description of the Cool Beam facial...

Enjoy an incredibly relaxing facial therapy as you repair years of skin damage pain-free. In each Cool Beam session, a healing light is applied to the face, with particular focus on fine lines, sun spots, breakouts, and irritation. Skin Effects Glycolic Peel Kit

I've mentioned before that I love the Skin Effects line which you can find at CVS, both in-store and online. I recently tried the Glycolic Peel Kit and I really love it. ($24.99)

It's a two-part system. First, you'll want to wash your face and dry it. Then you rub a glycolic pad (clearly marked "Step 1") over your face and let that sit for about a minute. It will tingle a little bit. Then you rub a soothing pad (marked "Step 2") over your face. I let that sit for about a minute and then apply my eye and face cream.

I noticed results right away and my skin was so smooth afterwards. I also felt like my face was a little tighter. Glycolic products are known for helping dimish fine lines and even out skin tone. They also reduce blotchiness and the appearance of pores.
