FotoFacial Follow-Up: New Laser Better Than Ever

After I posted my blog about FotoFacial laser treatments, the doctor who treated me, Dr. Bonnie Vulich at Refine Medical Spa in Chicago, called me and said, "Jeannie, great news! We have a new FotoFacial laser that's better than ever before." So you know I had to try it...

This new laser is called a Sciton and is more powerful than previous lasers, often just requiring 1-2 treatments versus 3-5 needed with previous ones. As I mentioned before, FotoFacial is great for getting rid of redness, rosacea, age spots, broken capillaries, acne scars, melasma and fine lines. Because it's a laser that uses intense light, it gets down to deeper parts of the skin, improving the overall texture. It helps stimulate collagen, and makes you look more youthful. Look at some of these results!

Once you get a FotoFacial done, you'll notice darker spots on your face (and chest if you have that area done too.) This is because the areas where you have the most sun damage will first get darker, and then eventually fall off, leaving behind beautiful skin. So don't do this procedure before a big event, and expect about two weeks until the darker spots are gone. (Although I'm able to cover mine with make-up.)

    Ok...I'm loving all the med spa treatments you are doing!! I have thought about doing so many, but there are so many treatments I have no idea what to do. Perfect blog..spa treatments. Glad it's you spending the cash to tell us if it's worth it. LoL! I'm doing laser hair removal here soon. YaY!

    These results you're showing here are exceptional... Anyone would kill for them but unfortunately killing is not enough, we have to search for a good cosmetic clinic to take advantage of them....
    Usually the price is a problem but I such results worth all the money in the world.

    After consultations with Ultra Medic Laser Skin Studio I decided to have Laser done to remove the bulges and dark circles under my eyes.
    The price was astronomically lower than what I would have paid in Dr. Groot or Dr. Sing for
    the exact same procedure. Now one week after the Laser treatment my eyes are completely healed, and I look at least 10 years younger.

    All-in-all I'm extremely satisfied and happy with the outcome of the procedure, and after
    living with those dark circles for 25 years I know now how easily I could have dealt with them years ago.
